About Nicole

Nicole’s journey in education began at age eight when she immigrated to the United States from the Dominican Republic and started attending public school in New York City. She earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish Literature from Fordham University and a Master’s in Special Education with a Bilingual Extension from City College.

With over a decade of experience in education, Nicole has taught in the South Bronx, served as an adjunct professor at the American Museum of Natural History, and now leads math curriculum development at Tutored By Teachers.

Her expertise in instructional design and problem-solving drives the success of tutoring programs that impact over 8,000 students nationwide.

Outside of work, Nicole loves traveling, relaxing at the beach, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
