Combat the “summer slide” and ensure your child stays on track academically with the LCPS Free Summer Academy.
This program, proudly brought to you by Tutored by Teachers, is open to all rising 1st through 5th graders (current K-4th) attending Jornada Elementary School.
Our previous summer programs have shown remarkable outcomes, with students making significant progress in their learning journey!
Program Details
8:00 am – 9:00 am (ELA) and 9.30 – 10:30 (Math)
Monday – Friday
June 10th through June 28th
Please Register by June 2nd
All Jornada students in grades K-4 for the current 2023/2024 school year (rising 1st-5th graders for 2024/2025) are eligible!
Join these virtual sessions through Zoom with a school-issued device from the comfort of your own home!
Each day, students will participate in one hour each of Math and Literacy tutoring with a live, experienced teacher. This program focuses on supporting student mastery of the skills necessary for success in the upcoming grade level.
This at-home program is for students who are NOT already enrolled in the Jornada on-campus summer program.
