Tutored by Teachers (TbT) connects your child with experienced, credentialed teachers for live, 1:1 or small-group virtual tutoring sessions.
Sessions are tailored to your child’s learning needs and delivered by experts who know how to make a difference.

Our tutors are certified teachers from across the country. They bring classroom experience, content expertise, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Yes! We’re an approved vendor in Arizona and are available through ClassWallet. Scroll down to learn more about using ESA funds.

Are the classes live?
Yes! All sessions are live and interactive with a real teacher who’s focused on your child’s growth.
How long are the tutoring sessions?
Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes, depending on the program you choose.
Can I switch tutors if it’s not the right fit?
Absolutely. If your child isn’t clicking with their tutor, we’ll work with you to find the right match.
What if my child has special needs?
We specialize in personalized support, including students with IEPs, learning differences, or those below grade level.
Let us know your child’s needs during sign-up, and we’ll match them with a tutor who can help.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule sessions with advance notice. Please refer to your program’s specific guidelines when booking.
How do you ensure quality and safety?

Can I use ESA funds for Tutored by Teachers?
Yes! If you’re in Arizona, you can use your Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds to pay for tutoring.
How do I get started using ESA funds if I live in Arizona?
Step-by-step instructions for Arizona families:
1. Check your eligibility

Once approved, you’ll get access to your ESA portal.
3. Sign up for tutoring

You can pre-pay for multiple sessions in advance using your ESA funds. We’ll work with you to set up the right schedule and invoice.
